I know for a FACT that the Bugle-snack-shaped Doomsday Machine would win since it is more advanced than anything in Star Wars movies.

According to the Star Trek novels "Vendetta" and "Before Dishonor," much faster, and probably a bit more maneuverable. Other facts: the planet killer has a solid neutronium hull, but its hull has a big opening into its power core right in front. The Death Star has an ionic cannon that can destroy a planet in a single shot, but its hull is made of ordinary materials, and its shields are porous enough for a group of fighters to slip through.

hmm, now this is a tough one...the doomsday machine is made for slicing chunks out of planets and then eating the debris, and the death star looks like a planet...

the doomsday machine could also be faster and more manueverable than the death star

I'll be thinking about this one for awhile! :)

ah, so the anti-proton beam can slice/pound through the shielding (never mind the exhaust vent that's 2 meters wide)... :)

...but all the Death Star has to do is aim its ion cannon right down the planet killer's throat

...and it's been a while since I've read "Vendetta" (I loved that novel) -- I think the planet killer in that one was supposed to be spiral-shaped? :)
